Dr Yomesh Dassaye is a Specialist Urologist and Robotic Surgeon with more than 13 years of specialist surgical experience. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Cape Town in 2004 and subsequently developed extensive surgical expertise in general surgery, receiving recognition and awards during his training before specialising in urology.

He obtained his Fellowship in Urology from the College of Urologists of South Africa in 2013. Since then, he has developed a particular interest in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He is a certified robotic surgeon and has been performing robotic-assisted procedures since 2022.
Dr Dassaye provides comprehensive urological care and performs a broad range of urological procedures.

His clinical expertise has been further enhanced through ongoing professional development, including national and international conferences, advanced surgical training, and exposure to leading urological centres internationally.

He consults and performs urological procedures at Capital Hospital, Westville Hospital and Durdoc Hospital. He also performs robotic surgery at Netcare Pretoria East Hospital and Netcare Waterfall City Hospital.
